With the flexibility of our homeschool schedule Addy was able to be a part of a local professional production of The Wizard of Oz with one of her besties and a handful of other great kiddos. Practices began in March and were fairly low key for the kids, for which we were thankful. It was an amazing experience watching the play come to life over the course of two months from the first read through to the development of each scene, song, transition, and finally to the stage. We were all, including Elliott and Rosie, captivated by the very talented actors and so very impressed with how the kids handled their many small roles with just a few lines which was just right for a first play experience for Addy! We parents were all very impressed with how seriously they took their roles and how well they memorized their lines, props, and cues throughout the whole show!
