Spring Renewal

Over the Easter weekend, which us heathens do celebrate in our own way, we had amazing spirit renewing activities including an inaugural pizza oven pizza party at our dear friends' house where the kids roamed happily and freely grabbing pizza as it emerged from the beautiful outdoor oven and the parents drank wine and ate yummy pizza while occasionally checking to make sure their children were all still alive and well.  Saturday was a supertastic birthday celebration for our sweet friend, Caryn, at the roller rink where our entire family donned roller skates and got our groove on!

I call Addy, "Tootie". Her skates are permanently on her feet at our house. She is quite proficient at going up and down stairs much to everyone's dismay. She loves to roller skate!

 Elliott mostly shied away from the camera but he was cruising and even had some sweet 9 year old girls fawning over him to help him around the rink! Oh boy!

Rosie did quite well in her plastic skates.

She even was balanced enough to dance a little! 

Easter morning brought an egg hunt and sugar overload.

There's nothing like a chocolate bunny for breakfast! We go for the binge option when it comes to candy. Eat it all at once and make it go away, until the next holiday :)  

Traditional holiday breakfast was had including some homemade gf cinnamon rolls. I think I finally found the best recipe!

and then we burned off all the sugar all afternoon at the local arboretum with some sweet friends.
